Le Royal
A French colonial, Khmer and Art Deco landmark in the vibrant capital — its royal link reflected in a crest gifted by the royal family and recipes known only to its chefs.
Days 1 – 3Seven days across royal Phnom Penh and ancient Angkor — with two legendary Raffles hotels as your home, and a private Butler as your guide.

For centuries, the mere mention of Cambodia has conjured mystery and adventure. This is that country revealed through the lens of your Raffles Butler: from the modern royal metropolis of Phnom Penh to Angkor, birthplace of the mighty Khmer Empire. Along the way you meet the tastemakers, royals and keepers of secrets who bring these places to life. Beyond sightseeing — into the story.

A French colonial, Khmer and Art Deco landmark in the vibrant capital — its royal link reflected in a crest gifted by the royal family and recipes known only to its chefs.
Days 1 – 3An authentic 1930s French Art Deco resort in the leafy Old French Quarter — the perfect address from which to begin your Angkorian adventure.
Days 4 – 7A VIP fast-track welcome meets you at Techo International — passports and visa formalities handled while you wait — before a chauffeured BMW 7-Series carries you to the hotel. Settle into your suite, up to Executive Suite for the three-night stay, and let the resident historian walk you through the legend. As evening falls: the Raffles Gin Experience at the storied Elephant Bar — or the cocktail of your choosing — then a three-course dinner with paired wines at Le Phnom 1929.
Dinner at Le Phnom 1929

A private morning through the heart of Phnom Penh with your English-speaking guide and chauffeured BMW: the Royal Palace with the official biographer of Cambodia's royal house, the world's finest Khmer sculpture at the National Museum, then the hilltop shrine of Wat Phnom and the Art Deco dome of Central Market. In the afternoon, take tea with a Norodom princess — Raffles Ambassador and daughter of Cambodia's first royal prima ballerina. The evening closes with a three-course dinner and paired wines beneath the hand-painted ceiling of Restaurant Le Royal.

Dinner at Le Royal
A morning with Chef Nak — the celebrated chef and cookbook author reviving royal Khmer cuisine: a market tour, a cooking class at her table, and the meal you've made together, with chauffeured transfers throughout (or, if you prefer, an evening dinner at hers instead). The afternoon is the Phnom Penh Heritage tour through the "Pearl of Asia" and its Art Deco treasures — or swap it for the Sosoro Museum and the galleries, silk and boutiques of Street 240. Tonight, dine at the hotel or let the concierge book the city's best table for your taste.

Your BMW 7-Series returns for the farewell drive from Le Royal — then a last bird’s-eye view of the capital as your private helicopter lifts toward Siem Reap, landing directly at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor (or arrive by vintage limousine via the summer palace). Your Butler whisks you to your poolside suite or royal villa for the three-night stay. The afternoon belongs to a Vespa: deep into the Angkor Archaeological Park — Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm and overgrown corners no car can reach. As evening falls, the Gin Butler leads the Raffles Gin Craze — or the cocktail of your choosing — before dinner in the heritage wing at 1932: A Tale of Two Tables, Chef Memo’s menu written for this very journey, with pairings from the resident sommelier.

A pre-dawn start for sunrise over Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, and the serene hours just after — then Ta Prohm of Tomb Raider fame and Angkor Thom with the many faces of the Bayon, in the company of your expert local guide. A picnic lunch is served in a traditional house overlooking Sra Srang, the ancient royal bathing pools whose pattern inspired the hotel’s own (or take a late lunch at Café d’Angkor instead). Mid-afternoon, the Siem Reap Art Tour at TRIBE, Kandal Village’s home for more than twenty contemporary Cambodian artists — then on to the floating village of Chong Kneas for a sunset cruise on Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Sling in hand, in tête-à-tête with a marine ecologist. The evening closes with the Siem Reap Food Tour: the town’s markets, street kitchens and hidden tables, guided.

Rise With The Sun: an early tour to Banteay Srei, the "Citadel of Women" — the crown jewel of Angkorian art, cut from pink stone, bearing some of the finest carving on earth and said to have been built by women. Nearby, the Golden Silk farm, where founder Oum Sophea Pheach revives brocades and ikats spun by golden worms and once fashioned for kings; then the Conservatoire Preah Ream Buppha Devi, Cambodia’s first rural dance school, under royal patronage, keeping alive a tradition of a thousand hand gestures listed by UNESCO. In the Kulen foothills, meet the last elephants of Angkor for a private jungle picnic orchestrated by your Butler — the experience’s cost donated to the sanctuary that protects them. Those who wish to go deeper may step inside the conservation of Angkor itself with the World Monuments Fund, and back at the hotel, walk the Grand Path of History with the resident historian, the Tale of Two Hotels volume a keepsake of the house. The day reaches its climax with a bespoke torch-lit dinner inside the temple complex — its menu drawn from the original 1936 setting, with a beguiling performance against the ancient stones.

Your final morning begins with Spiritual Awakening — the hotel’s dawn ritual of blessing and stillness — before the hotel’s livery service carries you to a take-off point hidden among the green rice fields. A continental breakfast buffet awaits, and then a sunrise hot-air balloon lifts you above the bucolic countryside and its sugar-palm trees. Then the car is waiting: a private transfer to Siem Reap airport, and the end of this legendary tale of two cities.
